For how long have you been living in your current home?

I've been here 7 months. We bought the house in December and moved in January 29 - just in time for my 39th Birthday. It felt like home since the first moment we walked in to view it and we were comfy here the first day we moved in.

Being an avid traveller I have moved an awful lot in my life, living in houses, apartments, hotels, in an Airstream trailer, a tent one summer, and even on a cruise ship.

This has made me very good at making a space my home pretty quickly. In the past it was not unusual that within 48 hours of moving the new place would be decorated and set up and feeling like I lived there for ages.

When on the road, staying in hotel or on a boat I always bring with me a few special items to make it feel homey - a fun piece of fabric, a candle holder, a few gemstones for my altar and perhaps a couple of sparkly mini-Christmas lights for atmosphere.

Now that I think of it, a few years back I even set a storage locker up as my closet/dressing room when I was in between homes/travel/moving cities and went there regularly to get dressed for a night out or grab a change of clothes etc.

Although the first 39 years of my life have been nomadic in nature as far as homes are concerned, I am very happy to have a home base now where I can leave my belongings when I go away, taking only those little things to spruce up my hotel room or temporary home.

Do you think more about the past or the future?

I think more about the immediate future. At the moment it is all work related such as all the things I need to do and people I need to email, call, reach out to,  follow up with etc. This is in fact driving me crazy as I know what it is like to be present but it just ain't happening at the moment with all I have on my plate/taken on.

It's ok in that I am aware and that there is an end to it so I just keep breathing and doing my best to let go.

The worst part is that I am judging myself for how I am being and so just this morning realized that I need be - would like to be - more compassionate towards myself - and others.

To step into my skin. To fully commit to who I am and my purpose and the opportunities which surround me. To believe I am worthy/smart enough/"good" enough to do what I know I am and wish to do. To be present to the doubts and to accept, love and be compassionate towards myself.

The opportunity to Be in right in front of me.

What section would you add to the newspaper?

Happy feel good stories and dreams achieved or perhaps a Manifestation Section where people could post what they'd like to do, their dreams, life purpose and others could contact them to support them in making it happen.

A Philanthropic Classified Section.

What's the farthest you've ever been on your own steam?

I am not sure of the mileage but I once flew to Cabo San Lucas with my bike (and a friend) and we cycled north up the coast, camping along the way.

We cycled for about 4 days before reaching our destination along a seaside route with some mountains and very sandy roads and the first day I thought to myself the same thing the cows did as we rode by - loco gringos- but after a couple of days I grew stronger and stronger and felt  fabulous physically and emotionally as I realized that we were powering ourselves, our tour of the Baja!

It was an incredible adventure.

And funny you should ask as I am doing a 7 day sustainable bike tour in Hawaii (Hilo) in January to celebrate my 40th!
